Clean and pretreat
Oil, rust and scale come off, and a conversion layer helps the powder grip the metal.

Spray
Electrically charged powder is sprayed at the earthed part and clings to it evenly.

Cure
The part goes into an oven. The powder melts, flows and cross-links into one film.

Cool and inspect
Once cool, the finish is hard, even and ready to handle, pack or assemble.
